What You Need to Receive Incontinence Products through Medicaid?
Medicaid Insurance Coverage
• The patient has active Medicaid or Medicare coverage in one of the following states: Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Kentucky, Ohio and Pennsylvania.
• The patient’s insurance plan covers incontinence products.

Age Requirement
• In Georgia – 2 – 21 years old.
• In Alabama, Mississippi, Kentucky, Ohio and Pennsylvania, the child must be older than 3
Medical Diagnosis
The patient has a qualifying medical condition that causes incontinence.
Common examples include:
• Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
• Developmental delay or intellectual disability
• Spina bifida
• Cerebral palsy
• Down syndrome
• Urologic abnormalities
• Neurological or bladder/bowel control issues
Medical Documentation
• A physician’s order or prescription is available confirming the need for incontinence supplies.
Product Needs
• The patient requires diapers, pull-ups, underpads, liners, or wipes due to a medical condition.
